TAICENN TM-PR121 series is a high reliable industrial Resistive touch screen panel display product. It is 12.1 LCD display, 4:3 1024*768 resolution. The touch panel adapts a five wires resistive touch screen, and it can support finger and touch pen touch input. 

The Resistive touch screen panel display TM-PR121 surface is specially treated with PET laminated, makes the monitor into true flat front surface. So the surface will be similar as P-cap. touch monitors products. The true flat design with high reliabity makes TM-PR121 very suitable for industrial environment.

FAQ1: Why does TAICENN do PET laminated treatment on resistive touch monitor?

Resistive touchscreen technology works well with almost any stylus-like object, and can also be operated with gloved fingers and bare fingers alike. However, the Pcap. touch is a new technology, less reliable than resistive touch panel.

But we all know, the resistive touch panel are always concave structure. We do PET film laminated treatment, so as to fulfill true flat design in the design. Finally, customers can enjoy the true flat surface benefit, but also be able to enjoy the higher reliability than Pcap. touch.

FAQ2: What is Optical bonding technology?

Optical bonding refers to a protective glass that is glued in front of a display to enhance its readability where installed in high humidity outdoor environments. When a normal display is used in an outdoor environment, there are some factors that affect its readability. The most common one is “fog”, or condensation, which forms on the inner surface of display's vandal shield. Another factor is the reflection of sunlight, which causes a mirror-image on the display. Both phenomena can be solved by using optical bonding.
