Intelligent Manufacturing Is The Inevitable Development Direction Of Industrial Automation

- Apr 18, 2018-

With the increase of labor cost year by year, the economic substitution effect of automation equipment gradually appears along with the disappearance of population dividend, and the number of manual workers in our country is decreasing continuously, corresponding to this, The average wage of manufacturing industry in China continues to grow rapidly, with a compound annual growth rate of 13.9% from 2009 to 2014.

In contrast, the price of automation equipment is declining year by year. Taking the typical industrial robot as the representative of automation equipment, with the efficiency, stability and precision of the robot being recognized gradually, the economy of industrial robot becomes more and more obvious, and the substitution for manual workers is also becoming more and more obvious. The economic substitution effect inflection point of industrial robots has emerged, and in 2013, the industry showed explosive growth in 2014.

By 2025, it is expected that the key areas of manufacturing industry in China will be fully intelligent, in which the key jobs will be replaced by robots. With the rising trend of labor cost, the decline of industrial robot price, the improvement of performance, and the expansion of application field, the industry of industrial robot will still maintain the momentum of rapid growth.

Global industry automation industry achieved double-digit rapid development after the 2008-2009 financial crisis, and its global revenue was $173 billion by 2013. The market is expected to reach $225 billion by 2017, increase 3.4 from 2012.

China's industrial automation control equipment market has a large share in the world. Traditional industrial technology transformation, factory automation and enterprise information need a large number of industrial automation systems, and the market prospects are broad. Industrial control automation technology is developing towards intelligence, network and integration.

The 12th Five-Year Plan for High-end equipment Manufacturing issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in May 2012 includes the 12th Five-Year Plan for the Intelligent Manufacturing equipment Industry, which states: by 2020, The cultivation of intelligent manufacturing equipment industry in China has become a leading industry with international competitiveness. The industrial system of intelligent manufacturing equipment has been established and the sales income of the industry has exceeded 3 trillion yuan.

The intelligent equipment and the automation of manufacturing process have been realized and the industrial production efficiency product technical level and quality have been improved significantly. China's automation and industrial control market is expected to reach 159.3 billion CNY in 2017, with a market size of 139 billion yuan in 2015, according to the report.

Due to the late entry into the industry and the lack of accumulation of core technology, China's industrial automation industry is developing slowly. At present, high-end products are mainly imported from abroad, Siemens, Kuka, ABB, Igawa, and Fana. The products of international manufacturers, such as Colma, occupy most of the domestic market.
